Northern Westchester Food Festival: Feeding the Hungry

September 28, 2013 by The Inside Press

templebethelSunday, November 3, 2013 from 4:30 to 6:00 PM

Temple Beth El of Northern Westchester,
220 South Bedford Road, Chappaqua

Temple Beth is proud to be hosting the Northern Westchester Food Festival. Join us on Sunday, November 3 from 4:30 to 6 pm, as the Northern Westchester community comes together to taste the culinary offerings from local restaurants and purveyors.

According to Susan Pecker, Vice President of Temple Beth El, the event organizer, “we wanted to find a way to reach out to bring the entire community together and focus on the common values we all share. I thought we should have the Festival at Thanksgiving time when we are all focused on food and what we are grateful for.”

Proceeds from this event will benefit Mazon – an organization whose mission is “To provide for people who are hungry while at the same time advocating for other ways to end hunger and its causes.”

This event is open to everyone in the community.  The price for the event is $18 per person and $25 per family.
