From Precision Care to Proactive Wellness: Mohini Rawat PT PC Expands to Mount Kisco

August 20, 2026 by Inside Press

A year ago, I wrote about the guiding principle behind my practice: that every patient deserves care that is precise, individualized, and evidence-based. That principle hasn’t changed. What has changed is how far we can take it.

I’m excited to share that Mohini Rawat Physical Therapy PC is expanding to a second location, Movement Wellness by Mohini Rawat PT PC, at 228 East Main Street in Mount Kisco, NY, joining our original Chappaqua practice. It’s the next chapter of a vision I’ve been building toward for years: care that doesn’t just treat injury, but actively keeps people well.

Beyond Recovery: A New Model of Care

Physical therapy has historically been reactive: something hurts, then treatment begins. My Chappaqua practice sharpened that model with treatment guided by real-time musculoskeletal ultrasound, electrodiagnostic testing, and objective clinical data. But across two decades in practice, education, and research, one conclusion kept surfacing: the best outcomes come from catching problems before they start. Movement Wellness is built around that idea, an ongoing partnership that monitors and protects movement health over time, rather than a single episode of care.

What Sets Movement Wellness Apart

The Mount Kisco location brings forward-thinking diagnostic and performance tools together under one roof:

  • Movement Analysis – biomechanical assessment identifying how a patient moves and how to correct inefficiencies before they cause damage.
  • Force Plate Testing – the high-precision strength, power, and balance testing used by elite sports programs, now available for everyday athletes.
  • Photobiomodulation – evidence-based light therapy that accelerates healing and reduces inflammation.
  • Injury Prevention Screening – risk-reduction assessments that catch imbalances while they’re still silent, long before they become pain.

These sit alongside the diagnostic foundation that has always defined my practice: musculoskeletal ultrasound imaging and EMG/NCS testing, giving patients objective answers rather than a best guess based on symptoms alone.

Expert-Guided, Outcome-Based, One-on-One

Every element is delivered the way I’ve always practiced: one-on-one, with no co-treatments, and every plan built around measurable findings rather than a generic diagnosis. This model is for athletes chasing peak performance, weekend warriors staying ahead of overuse injuries, busy professionals who can’t afford setbacks, and anyone who wants to move and feel stronger, at every age and stage.

Innovation in healthcare means little without clinical expertise behind it. Movement Wellness pairs that same rigor with a genuinely proactive philosophy: staying healthy for life, not just recovering from the last injury. Mount Kisco is where that vision comes fully to life.
