Savvy Ways to Make Your Eyebrows Glamorous!

March 5, 2013 by The Inside Press

ivanaBy Ivana Denniston

10. Make them longer. Extend to the end of your brow bone.  It will bring out the cheekbones.

9. Set them closer. This narrows the nose and make your eyes “pop”

8. Less is more. Follow your natural brow bone arch and tweeze them into a gentle curve more “in sync” with your facial expressions.

7. Work with what you have. Fill them in with the powder pencil if they did not grow in the way you wanted.

6. Groom your brows but be conservative. Trimming individual hairs will make eyebrows neat.

5. Choose the right color. Opt for a shade lighter than your natural brows so they look full, but not too heavy.

4. Tweeze once every three weeks.  Don’t fuss too often; brows actually do grow when maybe you thought they wouldn’t.

3. Use natural light when tweezing. Avoid magnifying and you will gain better perspective.

2. Trim, don’t pull the crazy little hairs at the beginning of your brow.  They’re a precious part of your brow and will give you a more glam and natural look.

1. Try not to make them too perfect. Removing too much makes them too tiny.

Dedicated to the art of eyebrows, Aesthetician Ivana Denniston has the unique ability to envision and sculpt brows in an artistic way that contours and highlights the best characteristics of the face.
