We hope you have enjoyed a decade or so of free reading of stories at theinsidepress.com. It has been and will always be our pleasure to shine a positive light in multiple ways on so many vibrant communities, and to share a variety of local voices, too.
As the cost of doing business has risen greatly for publishers everywhere, we are reaching out now to you, dear reader, to help support our online efforts with the suggested amount, or whatever amount feels suitable to your budget.
If you have any questions about this new request, please send a note to elise@insidepress.com. We aim to keep the stories coming for more decades to come.

Jason Goldberg says
The author writes “When any one of New Castle’s 18,000 residents dials 911 for a medical emergency, it’s CVAC who responds.”. Obviously, CVAC and its many skilled volunteers provide a wonderful service to New Castle. However, it should be noted that New Castle is actually served by four volunteer ambulance services. Mount Kisco VAC serves residents from (approximately) north of the Readers Digest line, Ossining serves residents to the west, and Pleasantville VAC serves resIndents to the west. We should thank all of these hard working responders who serve us daily, and who often fill in for one another on a mutual aid basis.
