Saturday May 5, 2012: Fundraiser with a Derby Flair at Fairview Country Club in Greenwich

The Neighbors Link “Festival de Primavera” gala is scheduled at the Fairview Country Club in Greenwich, CT. The theme is “An Evening at the Kentucky Derby.” Proceeds from the event will benefit Neighbors Link Mt. Kisco, a not-for-profit community center in Mt. The Neighbors Link 2012 Festival de Primavera gala is organized by the Friends of Neighbors Link. This year’s benefit will honor Agnes and Gerald Hassell of Chappaqua, NY. The “Evening at the Kentucky Derby” will begin at 5:00pm and feature mint julep cocktails, the 138th running of the Kentucky Derby, dinner, a live auction and dancing. Guests are encouraged to arrive at 5:00 to familiarize themselves with the racing line up, assess the odds and bet on their favorite filly. Official post time for the Derby race is 6:24 pm. Prizes will be awarded to the top winners, as well as guests donning the most fashionable Derby hats. The evening promises to be fun, lively and all for a great cause.

The live auction will include a variety of trips, dining opportunities and once-in-a-lifetime experiences. James Daniel Entertainment will provide after-dinner dancing for those wishing to celebrate later into the evening.
