Tuesday, April 24, 2012, 6:00pm: We are delighted that Jonathan M. Tisch will be our honoree at JCCA’s “Celebration of Hope: A Cocktail Reception to Benefit Children and Families.” This year’s festive event will take place at the Mandarin Oriental, New York, 80 Columbus Circle at 60th Street, New York City. The benefit chair is JCCA Trustee Daun Paris.
“We are thrilled that Jonathan Tisch, whose philosophy is based on social responsibility and community service, is going to be JCCA’s honoree this year,” remarked Richard Altman, JCCA’s CEO. “He believes, as we do, in providing help and hope to the 16,000 children and families we serve each year.”
Jonathan M. Tisch is Chairman and CEO of Loews Hotels, Co-Chairman of the Board of Loews Corporation, and well-known philanthropist. He initiated the Loews Hotels Good Neighbor Policy more than 20 years ago, which is a recipient of the U.S. President’s Service Award. Mr. Tisch is a best-selling author, the host of an Emmy-nominated television series, and is deeply involved in the civic affairs of New York City. He has won numerous awards, including “CEO of the Year” by the Executive Council of New York and serves on the boards of several organizations, including Tufts University and the Tribeca Film Institute.
