Thursday, June 14th EWGA Westchester announced it’s Charity Golf Outing for at the Mahopac Golf Club in Mahopac, NY. The Outing will raise funds for Gilda’s Club Westchester—whose mission is to create welcoming communities of free support for everyone living with cancer—men, women, teens and children. The Charity Outing is open to players (EWGA and non-EWGA members), of all skill levels and are encouraged to bring guests for either the Team Scramble or Team Best Ball golf options. The Outing will raise funds to support Gilda’s Club Westchester, a resource for social and emotional support for people living with cancer, located at 80 Maple Avenue in White Plains. Membership and all activities at Gilda’s Club are open to all and free of charge. The Gilda’s Club program is an essential complement to medical care, providing networking and support groups, workshops, education and social activities in a nonresidential, warm, home-like setting.
