A “Fair Trade” Shop Right in Town

January 29, 2013 by The Inside Press

fiartradeProducts: Fair trade and handmade jewelry, crafts, accessories, clothing and gifts. Additionally, we are pleased to be exhibiting paintings and photographs from local artists.

Strengths: Loyal and enthusiastic customers. Access to wonderful fair trade artists via suppliers who work closely with communities in impoverished areas around the world. Our fair trade items are unique and affordable. Each one gives back directly to an artist or community to help in the fight against poverty and child labor. We try to constantly find new artists and products. Additionally, we feel very lucky to have so many wonderful local artists providing us with spectacular jewelry.

Events: We’ll be celebrating Earth Day and World Fair Trade Day. Also, we will be holding beading and craft classes and a spring/summer fashion show.

full circle.

March: New Location, Same Great Boutique

January 29, 2013 by The Inside Press

marchServices: MARCH Boutique offers a well-edited collection of clothing and accessories generally not found outside of major cities like NY and LA. Lynn brings together the most interesting pieces from over 60 designers including industry leaders Milly, Trina Turk, Tracy Reese as well as a myriad of trendsetting emerging designers. The store’s tag-line is aptly titled: “a bit of SOHO in Westchester.”

Background: The MARCH concept is the result of years of fashion exploration, constant trend analysis and daily experiences both in-store and online.

MARCH has received several Best of Westchester awards including two “Best Boutique” awards from the editors of Westchester Magazine.

Greatest Strengths: MARCH is known for incredible fashion taste, friendly staff, and the unique ability to make everyone who walks in the shop look absolutely stunning.  The personalized shopping experience is an education on style. “While our racks are fully stocked with new and exciting merchandise,” states Puro,“ we purposely limit the number of each item from each designer’s collection so our customers can be confident of their distinctive look.”

Bigger and more visible location:  To build on the success of the past six years, MARCH has moved to a bigger and better space right down the street in the central retail area of Briarcliff Manor.   MARCH is newly energized with a great downtown vibe…elegant metallic ceiling, gleaming floor, fabulous lighting and modern, stylish décor.  It will continue to be a great place to shop!
New address:  1207 Pleasantville Road, Briarcliff Manor.

INTRODUCING MARCH PERSONAL: Busy clients will be delighted with MARCH’S new approach to personal shopping that will include convenient scheduled appointments, personal photo portfolio and individualized styling from our vast selection of clothing, jewelry and accessories.
