50 Shades of Lipstick

May 22, 2012 by The Inside Press

Simply, Tab indulged me the time and space to develop a business which, not at all by accident, allowed for dancing, partying and losing myself to pure, unadulterated fun. In the name of field research, my dress code changed radically from that of life in suburbia.

Late night dinners with A-List clients and vendors appeared on my dance card. I experienced the impact of sound and light previously earmarked for frequenters of after-party tweet spots. On “Date Night,” although Tab hated to dance, he did anyway. He did it for me.

“Hmm.. has he heard me sing? HE WOULD NOT BE ASKING TO MARRY YOU IF HE HAD!”

So, over two decades, we saw a lot, heard a lot and went places we thought we’d not. It was all flirtatious and freeing. There’s much which could be revealed but it wouldn’t be as exciting as it is safely locked up in the marital bliss vault. Want to know a dark secret? You don’t need to read about it… make one happen!
