TOWN OF NEW CASTLE DECLARATION OF STATE OF EMERGENCY

PURSUANT TO SECTION 123-50 OF THE NEW CASTLE TOWN CODE, TOWN SUPERVISOR SUSAN CARPENTER HAS HEREBY DECLARED A STATE OF EMERGENCY FOR THE TOWN OF NEW CASTLE, EFFECTIVE THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 8, 2012 AT NOON.

DURING THE EMERGENCY PERIOD, IT SHALL BE UNLAWFUL TO PARK OR LEAVE UNATTENDED A MOTOR VEHICLE ON ANY STREET OR HIGHWAY. UNDER THE DIRECTION OF THE POLICE CHIEF OR SUPERINTENDENT OF HIGHWAYS, ANY VEHICLE LEFT IN THIS FASHION MAY BE SUBJECT TO BEING TOWED AT THE OWNERS EXPENSE.

THIS EMERGENCY SHALL BE IN EFFECT FOR A 72 HOUR PERIOD UNTIL
SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 11, 2012 AT NOON.
