Come on out and dance this Monday, December 1st evening! It’s good for your own health, and you’ll be helping others too. Tonight, Pete’s Saloon and Restaurant, 8 West Main Street in Elmsford, and The Mental Health Association of Westchester (MHA) are getting a jump on #givingtuesday. Happy Hour begins at 5 p.m. Live Music with The Bad Habits (featuring MHA’s own Jim Coyle) begins at 7:30pm. There’s no cover charge and Pete’s will be donating a portion of the evening’s sales to MHA. Visit www.MHAwestchester.org to learn more and to donate.
#givingtuesday donations will support essential and under-funded mental health services in our community. Over the last 68 years, MHA has helped many thousands of individuals achieve their goals through collaborative, recovery-oriented care. Giving Tuesday is the global day dedicated to giving back. Conceived as a philanthropic alternative to Black Friday and Cyber Monday, it’s the day for charities, families and businesses to come together to celebrate generosity and to give.
