Background: Marti and Bruce Schoenberg opened the first Oasis Day Spa in Union Square NYC in 1998 and it become an overnight sensation. Marti, a massage therapist, and Bruce, a trade show producer, recognized the need for a more customer service oriented, reasonably priced NYC spa experience for Westchester when they moved here in 2004.

Oasis requires staff to go through the most rigorous training in the industry and requires continuing education–something no other spa does. Customer Service Story: Oasis in 2010 was named ‘Favorite Day Spa in the Country’ by the reader’s poll of Spa Magazine, as well as ‘Spa of the Decade’ 3 years running by Westchester Magazine. “Our staff continually goes above and beyond for our guests, coming in early or staying late to accommodate their busy schedules, “ says Bruce, who sits on the board of the ‘Swedish Institute’ and is also a contributor to the industry on educational issues at trade shows.
