New Themed Summer Program for Children Ages 4-12 to Open in June

 

Rainforest Water Adventures, Sports Skills Training, Music, Art, Cooking and Rock Climbing at the WeeZee “Sensational!” Summer Program

 

Chappaqua. NY — Rainforest water adventures; sports training and skill development, arts and crafts and creative cooking; mad science; song, dance and musical performances, outdoor games and treasure hunts and more… WeeZee World of Yes I Can, a health and fitness club for kids, located at 480 Bedford Road in Chappaqua, NY has announced the opening of its Sensational!Summer Program for children ages 4-12, to be held in two-week sessions featuring different themes from June 25th through August 31. Camp hours will be from 9:00am-3:00pm; Full & half day morning/afternoon options are available.

WeeZee will offer a unique multi-interest camper program including a range of activities that aim to enhance and strengthen the individual child’s talents and interests including sports, music, art, etc., in the unique environment of its 18,000 square foot play complex.  A staff of educators, and science, art, music and nature coaches will work together to provide day campers with summer activities that are both fun and educational. Daily activities will include water fun and games, sports, outdoor activities, music, art and cooking.  Each week will have a special theme featuring a different special event, themed activities and special guests.  The theme schedule for each week includes:

  • June 25-29              Carnival
  • July 2-6                   Space Jam
  • July 9-13                 Jungle Safari
  • July 16-20               Olympics
  • July 23-27               You’ve Got Talent
  • July 30-August 3   Under the Sea
  • August 6-10            WeeZee World of Wizardry
  • August 13-17          Cupcake Wars
  • August 20-24:        What’s Up Doc?

The fee for a half-day for each two-week session is $50/week for WeeZee members and $200/week for non-members; the fee for the full day is $100/week for members and $350/week for non-members. WeeZee also has pre- and post- camp sitter service available for early morning and late day care for $25.

In addition, a supervised CIT program is available for teens ages 13-16, which includes learning to work with children, as well as social activities for fun times with friends, new and old.
