40 Years of Love and Learning at Oak Lane

March 10, 2013 by The Inside Press

The Oak Lane Child Care Center celebrated 40 years of serving the Chappaqua community tonight at Crabtree’s Kittle House and  honored long time board member Evan Glassman.  Board Member Joy Puleo opened the reception with comments about Oak Lane being “a place where children are not only loved, but are learning.”  Executive director Ronni Weinberger introduced Evan who later commended the Center for a nurturing environment which has helped his kids grow into “warm, productive individuals.” In a keynote address that followed, Rob Greenstein, president of the Chappaqua-Millwood Chamber of Commerce, highlighted the need for the community at large and member merchants to continue to support the Center.
